Bar Flava and the Slug and Lettuce, both on Lord Street, are closed. The Slug, as mentioned before, is up for sale, while the Flava is rumoured to be line for a refurbishment and completely new look.

March 3, 2008The Slug and Lettuce bar/restaurant on Lord Street, Southport, has been put up for sale.
The pub has fallen victim to a “refinancing” exercise by operating company, Laurel Pubs. Up to 100 Laurel pubs have been earmarked for disposal, although only four of these are Slug and Lettuces.
