What are we to make of the reported takeover plan for Scottish and Newcastle by foreign johnnies Carlsberg and Heineken? S&N’s beers are pretty rubbish but  have some loyal fans, particulary beers like Newcastle Brown and the cheap Greek holiday favourite Mythos.
