I have a love-hate relationship with Hobgoblin, but an £8 for 8 500ml bottles at Morrisons was too tempting to refuse.
At 5.2% abv and full of malt I was quickly pissed and spent the whole night farting, tossing and cursing.
Truly an evil brew!

I like Hobgoblin, especially at that price, but the draught version is only 4.5% nowadays, which I had in the Philharmonic on Friday.

It’s probably a sin to say this, but I think I’d prefer the bottles to be at 4.5abv

You are right those bottles of Hobgoblins can be real killers (in a great way!).
