Herald and Portland closed – new owners for Victoria
The Herald and the Portland pubs have both shut their doors. The team in the Portland are taking over the troubled Victoria.
No word on whether the Vic will stay gay/mixed. But obviously the Herald’s attempt to go gay didn’t work out.

It just gets worse, doesn’t it? However, in the case of the Herald, perhaps one lesson is that the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender population of Southport simply isn’t big enough to support niche pubs, seeing that only around 5-10% of the general population is LGBT. The idea that all LGBT people like the same style of pub, music, drink, etc., is quite misguided. For example, gay pubs tend not to cater for real ale drinkers, but real ale is not just a hetero preference.

GLAD THE VIC HAS NEW OWNERS THE TWO NASTY BITCHES HAVE FINALLY GONE. ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY THEY OWED TO PEOPLE???? SEEMS ALL AND SUNDRY WAS CALLING THERE TO GET THEIR DOSH BACK. CONSIDERING THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE MONEY……WHAT A BLOODY JOKE, THE LIARS HAD ZILCH!!!!!
THE VIC FAILED BECAUSE THE TWO LEZZERS DIDN’T HAVE A CLUE HOW TO RUN A PUB. HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE AS GOOD AS IT USED TO BE BEFORE THEY GOT THEIR MITS ON IT.

their lies caught them up at last – but they are not poor – they have just taken peoples cash and will no doubt live of the money for many years to come – ruthless – maybe now people will understand what they said about others was all lies too – all to gain sympathy and time to make plans
Tam has a hotel in blackpool – Glendale for all those still owed money – you will find her there (Probably)
