You know you’re a drinker when….
You plant mint in the garden so that you can make proper mojitos. I’ve been wowing guests with mine – the secret is not to skimp on the fresh mint and give it a good slap before putting in the glass.

We’ve tried in vain to replicate the mojitos we had in Havana, but always to no avail. I think location could be the problem!

Aggers – No more Mojitos for you. You are banned from my Mojitos. Only home-brew for you from now on.
Paul – Drinks always taste better abroad. You’ll also be getting fresher limes, unrefined sugar, local firewater and S.American mint. Look on the bright side, I bet a pint of Cain’s tastes rubbish in the Bar de Havana
