Roxy heads for big time
Roxy Rivers, the smash-hit star performer at the Little Crown pub in Coronation Walk, is to get a shot at the big time in Blackpool.
Meanwhile, the Victoria - which is owned by the same people but is much less gay – plan to put on entertainers soon. They’ve made a big investment in the Vic, I think this is the right way to go.

Roxy AND Kit will be sorely missed. They are professional entertainers in the true sense of the word. They deserve to succeed.

Thank you so much to you all for your support.
Big thanks goes to Trisha & John for being such pleasent stallwarts of The Crown and supporting me and my younger brother Kit each and every week.
As it says, I am soon to leave for Blackpool and take on a hell of a task but one that im more than ready for. Proper vegas/northern UK cabaret with my twist plus dancers, will give Blackpool just what it needs.
Kit is to progress further in his PR sector of Synergy and become a Podium Dancer which is where he will be happiest as that is the style of dancing he enjoys the most.
There are alot of people we will miss and a few we wont lol!.
But overall we have enjoyed our time in Southport and will make the rest of our time here.

Roxy, while being fairly talented on stage with a sparkling attitude to the craft, will regrettably never make it big time. Many people know Roxy and have seen her perform, some long before others, but her inability to ask for help when she needs and organise herself beyond her makeup table will be her undoing. I shall wish Roxy all the best for the future and may her sparkle shine on long after her makeup is scraped off for the last time.

All thats needed is the right bar and The Crown was not the right venue.
Her shows are wonderful as all who have watched will agree with me.

I think roxy is a fairly standard drag performer, possibly a little less! As for the professionalism, is it professional to exactly copy other performers routines, surely you would put a little of your own spin on any routine to make it individual to each performer.

Roxy had a stage and a spotlight, what more could be needed??
As for professional, don’t make me laugh! If you call stealing other people’s routines and flouncing round as if the world owes you a favour professional then I must be an entrepeneur! And really, “making it big” and “blackpool” don’t really go hand in hand!

Glen made the Crown what it used to be and Roxy was brilliant. I don’t go to the Crown anymore, it’s pure garbage very third rate. Roxy has been slagged off by the old never to see 50 again queen who thinks he knows just about everything and evertone, well he’s just a two faced liar. I know that he was up tomato and windy’s arses and then had the cheek to tear them to pieces and that’s when he was manager at the Vic. He even got Toby the sack, unjustly bad mouthing the guy, James came under fire as did Ben and Mark. Yes Keith you are a liar – face up to it. You were jealous of Roxy who is a great person in or out of make-up and you wouldn’t wish anyone luck because you are so damned twisted. Roxy will always be a friend of mine, you certainly never were, I saw straight through you. ROXY WILL MAKE THE BIG TIME YOU ARE JUST A DECREPIT OLD QUEEN KEITH ACCEPT IT. Like the “Queen Mother” you died years ago and should go and bury yourself, your a nasty, bitter, pure evil person. Put your name to your comments in future – sorry you have too many faces.
