The tramps of Southport face a worrying wait after their favourite off-licence was caught in an undercover, underage booze sting for the fourth time in two years.
Thorougoods on Lord Street faces a hearing next week on whether it can keep its licence. It’s been getting lots of support from local worthies and alcoholics as a joy-juice shop that provides a genuine caring service to its customers.

I think these under-age stings are a bit unfair, but can understand. However, I hope the licensing way-up the fact that its mega tough to be offie staff when kids come in all mouthy and looking for booze

Well with all the post office queues, no wonder we all want it to stay open, so we can queue and drink at the same time.
