Beer by bus

The Southport & District Camra are organising a beer crawl in Longridge in the Ribble Valley on Saturday, June 21. Billed as a Solstice Safari, drinkers will use local bus services, including the X2 (boarding anywhere between Liverpool and Preston) before transferring to local bus no. 1 from Preston to Longridge. A day rider ticket is available from the driver for £5.70. There are 10 real ale venues in Longridge. A suggested itinerary can be had by emailing mikepcamra@aol.com.
