Victoria to reopen – updated
The Victoria Pub on Southport promenade will reopen on Friday.
The pub, which became infamous after plans to turn it into a “swinging sex club” fell apart, will reopen under the management of new tenants. A spokesman for owners and brewers Thwaites said “we believe they will add considerable value to the popular drinking establishment”.
Since then it has been suggested that the Vic will return to its roots as a gay pub. Will keep all you guys posted when I hear more.

hi seen as you know the victoria pub and the new owners i was wondering i am trying to find my dad his name is David Moore he used to own the pub and i don’t know if he still drinks there i am not sure but please if you do tell him his daughter is looking for him

It is a fabulous venue that welcomes all and does NOT discriminate on grounds of sexuality.
It would be nice if all venues were the same so that the gay and lesbian people could enjoy a drink anywhere and not feel uncomfortable.
