This is DISGUSTING! In Phoenix drinking a pint of room temperature rubbish. Have given it back as I can't afford to waste money. Breweries CAN cool beer right up to the pump head but won't spend that miniscule amount of extra money to do it. Chap who had the Mitre in Liverpool devised his own cooling system that ensured every pint was served at correct temperature. Unless the fat cats do something the younger generation will shy away from real ale - or is that their aim? Wrong topic I know but 4 excellent pints in Barons tonight after last nights disappointing Brewers Revenge.

I think we have all been there. A beer from our past which we revered. I have placed some beers of my past on a pedastal to only be shockingly disappointed when I find them again.

The perils and joys of growing up I guess.
