Southport bags silver
The Society of Independent Brewers held their North Beer Awards dinner at Southport’s Scarisbrick Hotel.
The Southport Brewery’s excellent Golden Sands was second in the best bitter category.
Champion beer overall was Ossett Excelsior, with silver going to High House Farm Nels Best and bronze being awarded to Jarrow Westoe IPA.
