Not very Liberal

In a long and boring interview with Lib-Dem leadership candidate Nick Clegg, he mentions that “alcohol, should be included in any new (drugs) classification system”.

Lib-Dems used to be harmless, sandal-wearing real ale drinkers with beards (and that was just the women). It seems their number one boy is a closet fascist.

The powers that be hope to do to alcohol what they did to smoking. They don’t want people to meet in groups, they want us to stay at home in front of our TVs while they take away our liberties. We are sleepwalking towards disaster.  

 

Southport’s MP John Pugh is a Clegg supporter but a beer fan and I’ll ask him where he stands on this issue next time I see him. One group of Liberals with the right idea are the Liberal Drinkers. We need more of them and less fascists like Clegg.
